Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art.

Art Matters

Multiple times throughout the year until shortly before the pandemic, BarberX sponsored street artists to create a work just outside our shop that they are inspired to make that has some, even distant, reference to barbering on the large 4’ x 8’ cable box.

Thanks to the RiNo Art District for their tremendous help in selecting talent.

Colorful mural artwork on a utility box outside a modern building. The mural features black and white cartoon-like skeletons and playful spirits against a split orange and blue background, with the number 3320 painted on the left. The ground nearby has some snow patches and small bushes.

CHRIS HAVEN | SEPTEMBER 2018 @ BARBERX

Colorful mural of a cheerful white shark with blonde hair, dressed as a barber, lying on a sandy beach with a blue sky background. The shark is smiling, wearing a blue cape with scissors around its neck, and has a small yellow bird flying nearby. The mural features barber-related items including a pile of coins, a box, a starfish, a wooden sign with a skull that reads 'Barber', and a castle-like structure.

Premiere during crush.
